Morris Isaacson High School is a public school situated in the heart of SOWETO IN Central Western Jabavu/ White City a poverty-stricken area in Soweto. It was initially known as Mohloding Secondary School. Its first principal Mr. Kobe approached a politician Richard Veldman Jewish friend, Morris Isaacson, to assist to turn the school into a high school and to build additional classrooms, a Science Hall and other office accommodation.

In 1999 the number of learners enrolled was 880. Today the number has increased to 990 learners.

There are 36 Educators and 07 PS Staff. Three of the support staff are administration clerks.

Grades offered 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 learners have three streams (curriculum) to choose from, viz.
Morris Isaacson High School commit and dedicate themselves to the provision of quality education to learners to enable them to face the challenges of the future with confidence by creating an environment that promotes self – discipline and motivation through learning and teaching

Due to the successes enjoyed by the Morris Isaacson High family every December, January, February the office is inundated with parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc reason they want their loved ones to school at MIHS

There is fully functional Library, and it is well resourced. There is a full time Librarian who is paid by SGB.

There is a computer lab build by Gauteng online. It has computers YOSA (NGO) has established a computer Lab. The Lab is fully functional with 27 computers
